Ruff-Ruff Ranch was established as a nonprofit public education and training forum devoted to advancing canine neurological development, structural integrity, and responsible, evidence-informed breeding.



Our educational platform is open to those who truly want to grow. We believe better dogs begin with better information, stronger collaboration, and humility in learning.



While education is available to all, hands-on litter placement at Ruff-Ruff Ranch is carefully considered and extended to select programs whose preparation and philosophy align with our standards.



For breeders seeking the highest tier of structured recognition, there is Crown & Collar Canines.



Crown & Collar is not a marketing title.

It is a documented qualification.



To be deemed Crown & Collar, a litter must demonstrate:



• Genetic review by a qualified genetic scientist

• Verified sterile DNA sample collection protocols

• Comprehensive genetic panel transparency

• Veterinary oversight and health documentation

• Orthopedic screening documentation appropriate to breed

• Chiropractic and osteopathic structural evaluation

• Naturopathic nutritional protocol review

• Documented temperament evaluation and nerve stability testing

• Video proof of structural movement and balanced gait

• Evidence of early neurological stimulation protocols

• Documented environmental exposure practices

• Commitment to ongoing individualized breeder education

• Agreement to multidisciplinary Board-level review



In addition, participating breeders must:



• Complete advanced educational modules

• Provide proof of continuing education in genetics or structural health

• Demonstrate transparent record-keeping

• Submit movement and structure footage for independent review

• Uphold ethical placement practices
