Our Olde English Bulldogge, Walter, is absolutely beautiful, incredibly loving, and already well on his way with training, which has made the transition into our home so much easier. He came fully up to date on all veterinary care and vaccinations, which really speaks to the level of care and responsibility she puts into her dogs. It’s clear that these puppies are raised with attention, intention, and love. 1000% recommend her! She is so knowledgeable and helpful. She answers any questions I have about my pups. She goes the extra mile for her dogs and you can tell how passionate she is about bulldogs and breeding. She takes this seriously and is not by any means, a backyard breeder. If you’re going to get a puppy, you want a loyal knowledgeable breeder and SHE IS! She is truly there for you even after they go home she’s there for you, any time of the day or night LITERALLY!!! When my pups eventually cross the rainbow bridge (hopefully many years from now), she will be my first go to on my search. Seriously can’t recommend her more and the puppies honestly speak for themselves. She is truly amazing and I love my babies!!❤️❤️

After losing our two OEB's within 2 weeks of each other, our hearts were broken and the pain was unbearable. Our home felt empty. We didnt know how to comprehend let alone accept our loss. After several months, we had purchased a puppy from another breeder, which ended in a very bad way. The puppy was 5 months old, very fearful of everything and everyone. The breeder was not very open with us about issues this pup may have experienced in his first 5 months of life, before we got him. she refused to have new customers come out to the farm to see the puppy in its environment with the rest of its litter mates and parents, and chose to make the purchase final in a gas station off the side of a country road. Long story short, after 2 1/2 long months of trying to give this traumatized puppy an amazing life, spending tons of money on trainers and dog behaviorist, as well as vet visits, to try and come to the bottom of the problem we were experiencing, we've decided to return the puppy to its home of choice and people of choice, the breeder and the farm he came from. We were so devastated. A decision that was not easy to make, but we had to think of the puppy's needs first. So we drove 9 hours, from Chicago to Tennessee, to only be greeted in the nastiest of ways. We met once again in the same gas station, as customers were not welcomed on the property. The experience was horrible and the treatmemt even worse!This individual, who called herself an "experienced breeder", was far from it! Her irrational thinking lead her to blame us for the puppy's issues. Not showing any remorse for our experience and all that we went through, nor the long drive that we just finished taking, to return the puppy to its original environment, the farm. A nightmare is the best way to describe our experience with this breeder.
Going forward and finding new light from such darkness, we were not giving up finding a good breeder with healthy puppies. As a matter of fact, it was our main focus. I searched facebook for days and came across Gemstone Bulldogges of the Midwest by searching for a reputable OEB breeder. I spoke with Alli, the kindest, most empathetic, lovable, very dedicated and devoted OEB breeder, who shared the love for the breed much like ours. We've had an instant connection. I shared our most recent losses and nightmare of an experience with another breeder, and she was just as much in shock, as we were. Alli was very inviting, and informative about her dogs and buisness. I loved her approach for breeding and raising healthy well socialized dogs with great temperament. I found her to very open and down to earth. she was very open for people to come out to her property to see and experience the setup and environment these pups were accustomed to. She was very eager to share her ideas and seemed very comfortable and confident about how she runs her buisness and the outcome of having happy, healthy puppies. After a few conversations and exchange of references, we were given the opportunity and chosen to be the forever parents and home for not one, but two of her beautiful puppies. How lucky were we?!!! We are forever grateful and feel so blessed to have found Alli, our now friend. She is the best, most nurturing breeder who pours her heart and soul into her well behaved, well sociolized and loving OEB dogs. Our hearts are full again, as is our home, with two beautiful, healthy male OEB puppies, from Gemstone Bulldogges of the Midwest, whom we highly recommend as reputable OEB breeder and friend. After losing my 15-year-old pitbull in September 2023, I swore I wasn’t getting another dog. The heartache over my loss was tremendous and my busy schedule was just easier without the dog mom responsibilities. But in the midst of my chaotic busy season at work, one of my clients said “you should just look at this website - you don’t have to get one, but just look.” So I looked at the adorable puppy pictures, and I knew I was in trouble. I kept going back to the page and looking, but before you know it, I filled out the application. And boy, am I thankful I did!!

I got my baby boy Capone from Gemstone Bulldogges in August 2024 and absolutely adore him! Everyone loves him because he’s so cute (of course), but even better than that is when you get feedback from your vet and the person who runs the obedience school Capone attends about how uniquely smart he is. His exact words were “Capone is the smartest dog I’ve ever worked with. It’s a real testament to his breeding!”

So FANTASTIC JOB, Alli at Gemstone, at knowing your trade and breeding such exceptional dogs to get exceptional puppies. The genuine love she has for the dogs is obvious too. Highly recommend!!

Gemstone Bulldogges/Alli put in SO MUCH time, energy, and love when raising these pups and it truly shows. Our puppy Duke (formerly Luigi) came to us with such an easygoing, friendly demeanor. He’s only 11 weeks old and just about fully potty trained. He’s a very social puppy who loves everyone he comes across, and has already made a ton of doggy friends. Alli was fantastic about keeping me updated for the first 8 weeks of Duke’s life, sending written and picture updates at least once a week. We have had a wonderful experience with Alli and Gemstone ❤️

We have gotten 2 wonderful puppies from her. They are from from two different litters same mom. Our oldest MaryJane was Elanor would be a hunter's dream. She is all muscle and always ready for a walk.

Loki aka Mario on the other hand still very healthy, is stubborn.

She allowed me to get to know Loki before choosing him at her home for more than 5 minutes. I played with all the puppies so he could find me. You couldn't ask for a better family to get your new family member from. She doesn't raise just dogs she raises furry family members to pass on love, joy and laughter.

Our beautiful Lexi is a Gemstone Bullgogge and she is a future mother to babies. We have known Alli for a few years, and a few litters of puppies and she is without a doubt the best dog mom we have met. She asked us to be a guardian family for Lexi and knowing how she runs her program and the care she takes for each and every puppy, we did not have 2nd thoughts and were so honored she asked us. She is absolutely there whenever we have had a question with this new adventure. She has been with us every step of the way. Being in her home as new litters arrive, I can tell you that they are loved, played with, and treated like family. She is dedicated in love to this program and has shared with me the goal is to have high quality puppies for families to love without the problems that large dog breeders have. We are so happy to be apart of this wonderful family and look forward to each new step we take with her. Our Lexi will be a mother to a few of her litters someday and we know 💯 that she will take care of Lexi and the puppies and find the best homes possible for them.

I heard about Gemstone Bulldogges of the Midwest several years ago. After talking with Alli I was more intrigued. We talk-texted-emailed for about 6 months before we submitted our application. 

We lost our 2 OEB to liver cancer (Brewer who was 6) and Porter he was 12. 

When I saw Allie banging pots and pans while feeding the puppies, it became even more clear, she's knows what's she's doing!

Ask yourself how many dogs have issues with thunder/lightning, fireworks? Jasper does not! 

Her puppy wranglers are constantly playing with the puppies and socializing. We could not be happier. . Our only regret, we did not leave him long enough with her to finish out the puppy training program.

Where do I even begin. We knew we wanted another OEB after the passing of our Harley boy in 2024, but the thought of buying from a breeder honestly worried the heck out of me. (We acquired our Harley from a friend of my sister in-law). I had heard so many horror stories of the unethical practices of “backyard breeders,” but after searching tons of different breeders throughout the country, I came across and started following Gemstone Bulldogges of the Midwest. With a thorough search of the website, the reading of Alli’s blog, and seeing her numerous educational and heartwarming posts on Facebook, my fears about buying from a breeder were being put at ease. There was no denying that Alli LOVES these dogs, and she also cares about the families they go to as well. From the moment I expressed interest in getting a puppy, Alli was so great at communicating with updates throughout the whole process, from the application all the way through to a few months later picking up our sweet, Gunner boy. Alli raises these pups in her home, along side herself and her family. These puppies are living in a clean, well put together home, with so many things for them to play, learn and test their curiosity safely with. The fact that her children are so involved in the puppy process was also a HUGE plus for us, as we have 2 young children ourselves. Alli’s transparency, communication and true desire to see people educated about how to care for OEBs is second to none. After meeting her, I can confidently say that Alli is absolutely every bit the kind, awesome person that she seemed to be through messages. We are so blessed to have found Alli and Gemstone Bulldogges of the Midwest. If you are wanting a breeder you can trust to produce healthy, well cared for OEB puppies, look no further.

I will start off with “My dogs are my life.” Already having an OEB, I spent a great deal of time looking into breeders, not wanting one who was in it for the money and not the breed. I was impressed with the physical attributes of Gemstones. All breeders have some attribute they breed for: color, large size, long coats, …. Alli breeds for their health. I was again impressed when I inquired about purchase that she required an application and approval prior to purchase. You can’t just buy a pup. Alli is definitely in it for the dogs and it shows. Pictures and updates were provided throughout the wait, as well as full information on their diet, supplements, exercise, and training. When a disconnect happened between me and the transport bringing my pup to me, Alli stepped in. She stayed in touch through the next morning, making sure all was ok with my pup. Thanks, Alli!

From the moment I showed interest in a puppy Alli was more than helpful and kept me well informed of everything. She is willing to share all the information to ensure that the puppies have a healthy life. She ensured Harley Quinn was checked out by the Vet and got all required shots and microchipped before I picked her up. She responded immediately to messages before I picked our baby girl up and continues to communicate to any questions or concerns I have no that I have brought Harley home. I have never seen a breeder who is so involved and informative with the well being of their puppies.

The opportunity for Harley to attend obedience and kennel training is also amazing. It really sets the puppy up for success when being placed in a home. Charity did a fantastic job training the puppies and keeping the future families informed of the training and progress of the puppies. She shared an abundance of information and has continued to share information after picking up Harley. 

I will most definitely seek her out when I’m ready for my next puppy!!!

After the passing of our sweet Lucy I knew we be getting another OEB it was just a matter of time, I didn’t expect it to happen so soon. I was lucky enough to come across Gemstone page to find they had Thelma available and 4 Weeks later I am on a flight to SD from NH. I cannot say enough about Alli and her family they truly put the time, effort and love into their dogs. This breed is special and Gemstones dogs take it up a notch. Alli made the whole process fun for us, the communication from the get go was very comforting and she makes sure that her puppies are going to good homes, you just don’t get to buy a puppy from Gemstone Alli does her due diligence.
